Hiya! I’m the founder and face behind The Flex Point. My journey with yoga started about ten years ago as a personal practice of self-discovery, long before I stepped into formal training. To deepen my commitment to this practice, I completed my Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification at JP Centre Yoga in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, where I rooted my teaching in thoughtful alignment and community.
Mainstream wellness spaces can feel exclusive or overwhelming, making it difficult to find inclusive yoga that caters to everyone's needs. This is yoga for people who think they can't do yoga. I have a deep affinity for making yoga genuinely accessible to everybody, regardless of your background, experience level, or flexibility. People also just want individualized attention and personal yoga practice, which is why I started The Flex Point. A more experienced practitioner can benefit from a practice more focused on alignment. Let's explore your practice more deeply.
Your personal yoga practice should serve your life, meaning you can do yoga on your own schedule and in your own way. You don’t need fancy designer gear or an hour of perfect quiet to connect with your body and soothe your nervous system. Whether you have five minutes to breathe in your pajamas on your living room rug or you are a seasoned practitioner looking to reclaim your routine at home, my goal is to provide a warm, private, judgment-free space for your practice.
When you practice with me, the focus is always on the rich process of learning and listening to your own body rather than chasing a perfect physical shape. I am so glad you are here, and I look forward to moving together on your terms, embracing yoga for everyone.
